A lonely single mother runs a struggling artist colony on a secluded island near an empty sea. The only other residents are her teenage daughter who dreams of escape and a middle-aged poet with crippling anxiety. One day the bell rings.

The play explores the potential impacts of climate change, creative inspiration, government corruption and helplessness.

Birds die. Leeches suck. Lovers kiss. A parable of the end.
